On Sunday 9th October 2005, this plate was dedicated to George in the St Georges Memorial Church in Ypres, it was a fitting tribute to George who loved to talk about Ypres, as was honoured to return there in 1963 to meet his old comrades.

St Georges can be found a short walk from the Grote Market in Ypres, just walk down behind the cloth hall to the bottom of the square.

Pay it a visist, as inside there are dedications to many of the regiments and soldiers who fought in the great war. The upkeep is by donations, so please support them.
